(San Diego, CA) A local man was brutally attacked and stabbed 94 times
in a ritualistic fashion at super-market chain, Vons in Escondido last night.
An assailant wielding a standard issue box cutter apparently attacked
the victim over an argument. Police believe the suspect could be
the co-worker of the victim who fled the scene.
Police released the name of the victim, 45 year old John Smith of
Escondido. The Escondido police department released an all points
bulletin on the whereabouts of Nick Sterling who they believe is
responsible for this heinous attack.
"Nick was quiet all night", said co-worker Juan, 21, of Ramona. "He
usually doesn't ever get this angry, but I guess he couldn't take
it anymore".
The scuffle most likely ensued after the victim pushed a two-wheeler full
of cereal at Nick in a blind fit of rage.
"That's when Nick -just lost it-", according to Brent E, 23, of Temecula.
"He pulled out his box cutter and lunged at John Smith like an angry
pitbull. There was nothing we could do... there was blood everywhere!"
The words
U R SHEEP were methodically carved into the
victim's chest cavity.
Sources and witnesses recounted an odd spectacle after the crime.
"Nick yelled NATAS propels me and ran in circles", said co-worker Juan.
"Then he grabbed some beef sticks and took off running down the street".
Police spokeswoman Anita Oargy described the battle as particularly
vicious.
Co-worker Juan has since sought homicide counseling.
"My life has changed since last night. I won't ever under-estimate
a white, skinny person again!"
Escondido Police wants anybody who might know the whereabouts of
Nick Sterling to call Detective Sergeant Joseph Cardillo at EPD on
760.489.5950.
